Health Guarantee
At Cuddly Canine Companions, we are committed to providing you with a healthy and happy Golden Retriever Puppy. To ensure your peace of mind, we offer a comprehensive health guarantee that covers several key areas:
Genetic Health
As a responsible breeder, I carefully screen my breeding dogs for common genetic disorders associated with Golden Retrievers, such as hip dysplasia and certain eye conditions. I guarantee that your puppy will be free from these inheritable conditions for a period of 1-2 years after purchase. If a genetic issue is diagnosed during this time, I offer options for resolution, including a full replacement puppy, a refund, or reimbursement for reasonable veterinary expenses. This ensures you receive a healthy, genetically sound puppy.
Congenital Health
In addition to genetic conditions, I guarantee that your puppy will be free from any congenital defects at the time of sale. This includes potential issues with vital organs such as the heart, liver, or kidneys. This guarantee generally lasts for the first 12-24 months of your puppy’s life. If a serious congenital issue is identified during this period, I will work with you to find a suitable resolution, whether that be a replacement or refund.
Veterinary Examination
I strongly encourage all new puppy owners to have their Golden Retriever examined by their own licensed veterinarian shortly after bringing them home. This allows for a thorough health assessment and helps identify any immediate concerns. This examination should occur within 72 hours of your puppy’s arrival. If your vet finds significant health issues, you will have the option to return the puppy for a full refund or exchange.
Vaccinations and Deworming
Before your puppy goes home, I ensure they are up to date on all age-appropriate vaccinations and deworming treatments. You will receive documentation verifying that your puppy has received the necessary preventative care, giving you confidence in their health and protection against common diseases.
Ongoing Support
Even after you bring your puppy home, I remain committed to providing support and guidance. Whether it’s advice on training, nutrition, or addressing health concerns, I’m here to help. Keeping an open line of communication is part of my dedication to the long-term well-being of each puppy I breed.
This comprehensive health guarantee reflects my ethical breeding practices and commitment to ensuring that every buyer has an exceptional experience.
Returns and Exchanges Policy
We understand that sometimes a puppy may not meet your expectations. To facilitate a positive experience, we have a clear and fair returns and exchanges policy, which includes:
Immediate Concerns
If your puppy is examined by your veterinarian within 72 hours of arrival and found to have a serious health issue or congenital defect, you can choose to return the puppy for a full refund or exchange it for another puppy.
Genetic Conditions
If your puppy is diagnosed with any covered genetic disorders, such as hip dysplasia or eye issues, within the 1-2 year warranty period, you have the option for a replacement puppy, a refund, or reimbursement for veterinary costs associated with treatment.
Change of Mind
We understand that sometimes a puppy may not be the right fit. If you decide within 10 days that your Golden Retriever isn’t the right match, you can return the puppy for a full refund, provided the puppy is in good health.
Behavioral Concerns
If you encounter behavioral issues that you are unable to resolve with my guidance, I am here to help. We can work together to find a solution, which may include taking the puppy back and offering a partial or full refund based on the circumstances.
My goal is to ensure that every buyer has a positive experience and that you end up with a healthy, well-adjusted Golden Retriever that fits your family perfectly. This return and exchange policy is designed to build trust and confidence in my breeding program.
How to Request a Refund
If you encounter an issue with your puppy and wish to request a refund, the process is straightforward:
Notify Me of the Issue: Reach out to me in writing (via email or letter) within the specified time frame. For immediate concerns, this is typically within 72 hours, while genetic issues fall within the 1-2 year warranty period. Include details about the problem and any veterinary diagnoses.
Provide Veterinary Documentation: Submit copies of your puppy’s veterinary records, including the initial examination report from within 72 hours. For genetic or congenital issues, include the veterinary report detailing the diagnosis.
Schedule a Veterinary Examination (if needed): If necessary, I may request that you take the puppy to a veterinarian of my choice for an independent evaluation. I will cover the cost of this additional examination as part of the process.
Review and Approval: Once I receive the required documentation, I will review your case to ensure it meets the health guarantee criteria. If approved, we will work together to determine the best resolution, whether that’s a full refund, a replacement puppy, or reimbursement for veterinary expenses.
Refund Processing: For approved refunds, I will issue the full purchase price back to you within 14 business days. You can request the refund through the original payment method or an alternative method.
Throughout this process, I aim to be transparent, responsive, and accommodating. My goal is to resolve any issues quickly and fairly, maintaining your trust and confidence in my breeding program.
